Castro resigned; big news, worth taking note. Fifty years, that’s a long time. If you’re  fourteen, fifteen, you don’t even remember when Bush wasn’t president. Nice to be young, what life’s all about. But to have never known anything but a world run by Bush…I’m sorry. We should never have allowed that. Yeah I know, voting sounds like a weenie-wimp way to change things; but with Ashcroft ready to throw you in prison for no reason, well…the gulag makes cowards of us all. Just ask the Cubans. Fifty years, that aint right. We should never have allowed that, right next door; like we didn’t even care. When I was little, the Cubanos lived right next door. But good God, a world full of refugees aint what we’re here for.
